Make A Friend was created to try getting the users to interact
with each other. That way your bbs would feel more like home for
all the users.
=====================================================================
"Why Should you Register this you ask? It will help me to create more
Programs just like this one and also it will make you as a Sysop feel
like you are helping a starving programmer feed his kids!
You will find in this Unreg.Version My BBS,it will show up as well
as a 15 second Delay and the Unregistered version will only permit a 1
line comment to a Friend.
When Registered it will reflect "Your BBS Name" There will be no delays
and you will be given access to a Fullscreen Message Editor and allow
you to choose any Conference to leave a message in.
============================================================
Setting up this wccode program is very simple and easy. All you need
is a Wildcat BBS Version 4.2. I am not sure if this will work on a older
version or not. This version was complied with wccode 4.2.
Just unzip Friend.zip in your wildcat dir. When you have done all this
then you need to go to " Makemenu" and choose the menu that you want to
add it to. First thing you do is pick "Insert" then this screen will show
up.
EXAMPLE:
= ================ Edit Menu Item ====================
= Selection key : ! =
= Description : Make A Friend =
= Command type : Run Wccode Program =
= Parameters : C:\wildcat\Friend.wcx =
======================================================
= F2 Pick F10 Done =
======================================================
Just add these commands as above or use yours just make sure that
you use the *.wcx file. Once the program is added then you will need
to do a "alt W" to add the program to your menu so the users can see
it. Hay you are now ready to use the program.
